We will meet in my counselling room which is a safe and confidential space in which you can voice your fears, concerns and worries without judgement or criticism. We will sit together to give you time to think about your feelings and emotions no matter how overwhelming they feel. We can explore thoughts and ideas that feel important for you ensuring you are listened to, heard and accepted for who you are.
Outdoor Walk & Talk Therapy
If you find the idea of being in a therapists room intimidating and love spending time outside in the fresh air, then Outdoors Walk & Talk sessions might be the answer. I have rural paths close by and a nice walk to the cliff tops or we can stroll down the garden and sit outside my pod and you can talk about issues facing you whilst getting a little fresh air and exercise.
Research suggests that spending time with nature is excellent for physical and mental wellbeing. This type of therapy introduces a calming, meditative grounding experience to the counselling process.
Online Counselling
This is a way for you to engage in face-to-face counselling whilst not having to travel anywhere. Perfect if you have difficulty getting out and about or if you live a long distance from my location. If you choose this method of counselling then you will receive a link from me directing you to a secure log-in page where we will meet online at a pre-arranged time.
Telephone Counselling
Telephone counselling is ideal for those of us who 'don't do technology' and live too far away to visit my counselling rooms or have difficulties getting out and about. You can use either a landline or mobile phone for this therapy, you choose whichever is easiest for you. The sessions will take place at a pre-arranged time and I will ring you so there is no extra cost to yourself.
